hey hun, I did read your post and I'm guess I'm okay because it wasn't triggering for me. I think that is because I am in such a good place right now. I wish I could help you! I can feel how hard you want to get better but your just stuck in this horrible funk! Maybe chatting to Suavecito will help and you will feel better and more okay with you. I think Tracy is right, if you can try and eat as many meals with others right now, that would be good. I know this place is hard. I'm thinking of you hun! *hugs* Sarah
I read your post and tried to leave a comment, but was too late! I think it's important for you to get all this stuff out, and as long as you warn people that some might find it triggering (I did not btw) you should feel free to post what you want.
I would stick with Tracy's advice, she seems like a good 'un :-) Hope it all goes ok today (or will that be tomorrow in your time zone? hmm I'm confused!)
you so did not trigger me! I had completely forgotten about that, I totally did. I think it's because (and I don't want to trigger you) water doesn't make me hungry. So I think my hunger cues are just all screwed up!
I am just not used to so much fluid and it's weird and strange to me. I will figure it out. If it helps, tonight I am having a bowl of vegies, with 1/3 of cup of dry rice cooked and a can of flavoured tuna and Michael so approves of this meal :-)
P.P.S. Laura, I just wanted you to know that I did eat! I had the vegies and rice with a can of salsa flavoured tuna and a glass of water, flavoured with a small amount of tropical V8 and for my dessert I had a mini twix chocolate bar. Did I tell you that I have a mini chocolate for after lunch and after dinner. I find that makes me not want to pig out on it and I still get to enjoy it :-)
I hope you are managing your food okay. It is hard I know!
i know that you may worry that you post could have been triggering however the truth is every moment of every day can be triggering and you are not responsible for that. You need the safe space to express yourself, and if it turns out that one of us is triggered then it means we have to look at what triggered us and take responsibility because the triggers are always going to be everywhere....its only us that will change.
You deserve fully to be able to express yourself openly without feeling like you may be responsible for triggering another.
Unless you are posting thinspo style pics or glamorizing restriction, or positively affirming what we all know are triggering behaviours you have nothing to worry about.
You are recovering and the important thing about having a blog in my opinion is to be open and bare to yourself and the world so that you may fully benefit from your openess in order to find healing and support. Without having the safety and security of being able to fully express your thoughts without censorship the best use of a healing blog can be somewhat well lost.
My point is be you, say what you truly feel, and know that we all support you.
I am not offering this as criticism AT ALL, just making a note in case you aren't aware, but for people that read your blog via Google Reader, the deleted posts are never deleted. We can't view it on your blog if they click the link, there's no page, but once the text is published in Reader it stays there.
Cammy, thanks for telling me. Wow. That's pretty unnerving. I feel bad that I couldn't remove the post for all google readers. I don't even have a copy of it myself to know what I wrote... I just remember it being a little too descriptive. So, to anyone who reads via Google Reader... I'M SORRY!!!!
