I am not in the mood to write out a whole post about my reasoning or how this came about...
But, yesterday, Tuesday, I signed the paperwork and agreed to go if insurance approves.
Today, Wed:
I won't know about insurance until later today.
I was so nervous this morning that I was wishing I could just take a 500 calorie breakfast pill instead of eat the food.... but I ate. I ate 100% of what I need to eat. I had cinnamon raisin french toast with butter and yogurt and blueberries. Because, whether or not insurance covers, agreeing to go has been me committing to go 100% with recovery - which translates to 100% of meal plan, all of the time, like it or not. I just feel like I committed to something really big. 90% isn't enough anymore....
Laura, I'm so so proud of you. This is an awesome thing you are doing and very scary. I think it will really help you to beat this thing once and for all. I know you can do it, I really do. I hope you find out soon whether you get to go.

ReplyDeleteThat is a spectacular outlook!!! Committing 100% to recovery. To your health. To having the life you know you want and fully deserve to have! Rock on, Laura! Not saying it will be easy, but fully committing seems like a mighty difficult step, if you ask me! :o)
